HOA Governing Bodies

  • Board of Directors. The Reserve at Bridgefield HOA is managed by a 3-member Board of Directors. The Board is made up of HOA members (i.e. residents of the Reserve at Bridgefield) who volunteer for the positions. Each member of the Board is elected to a 2-year term by a majority vote of the residents at our annual meeting that occurs within 60 days after our fiscal year begins (1 July). All members are notified by mail in advance of the meeting.
  • Officers. The Board of Directors elects officers from among the volunteering members of the HOA to serve as the President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Any two or more offices may be held by the same person – except the President and Secretary.
  • Architectural Control Committee. The Board of Directors also elects volunteering members of the HOA to serve on the Architectural Control Committee. This committee reviews residents’ requests on external changes to their lots to ensure they are aligned with the covenants / community standards. Residents send, in writing, their plans for any proposed exterior changes or new construction via a “Property Improvement Request” form to the Architectural Control Committee which has 30 days to disapprove it. More information on the Simple HOA Guidelines page.
